Love Life, Not Rocks!

My father is one of my greatest teachers and he constantly teaches me important values that will last in the longer race of life.

I am a sensitive chap. I love my computers, books, gadgets! I feel terribly bad if something goes wrong with them. Just recently, my teacher distributed our science prelim papers in class. When I received my paper, I was on cloud nine!

I had scored 40/40 and had also got great remarks for my presentation and display of the paper.Overall, I was very happy. Everyone was openly or secretly envying me. They wanted to seek inspiration from my paper. Two friends sitting besides my bench asked for the paper and i gave it to them happily.

I then got engrossed in the class work. Suddenly, I heard the sound of my friends quarreling and what I saw next what ghastly. My paper was being pulled by one of them away from the other. Before I could intervene, BOOM!

My paper was sliced elegantly into two! The friend who was pulling it vigorously began continuously apologizing for the same. I said "Okay!" quite bluntly and did not pay much attention to the friend later. However, it didn't take me time to notice genuine tears in my friend's eyes. Instantly, my dad's words " Don't love non-living things, strive to love living things are they are what really matter! They have hearts and souls!"

I turned to him quickly and patted him on the back. I said "It's fine dude! Happens. Its just a paper of 16 pages. We can write it again!" This talk really improved his mood drastically.

I was really pleased at the end of the day for I had dealt with a situation of potential anger and dispute peacefully by compromising on things that really didn't matter much.

A paper or a toy or a mobile phone can be purchased again, repaired or what not! But a friend or a relative whose heart is a tough jigsaw puzzle with no hints indeed!

My Dog Allergy

It's fascinating to know how two things very opposite yet very equal in magnitude can exist together.

It's really sad to know :

1) Some humble men with hearts of gold are poor and barely survive.

2) Ignoble, haughty people are rich and influential beyond measure.

3) A humble person never blowing his own trumpet whilst praising others often, gets kissed in the dust while the bragging lots gain success.

That's life. It's great but uniquely unfair!

I love dogs! Period! I could do with them all day long. They give me opportunities to laugh and smile and even frown at times, all day long. They are great animals. They just follow 'Give Love, Get Love' and simply expect love from us. I cannot deny they are food centric at times,

I own two dogs, a Labrador and a Doberman. They are very sweet! I live playing with them. When I touch their silky fur, my forearms start itching. Rashes appear within seconds and soon my eyes turn watery. I sneeze and eventually cough till my ear drums pop. I need bitter medicines to find sound sleep.

Its really fun! I love dogs though I am allergic to them!
